#Privacy Policy

This policy is a working draft and will be updated as our products grow. We will say here when it changes.

#1. What we collect

• Account details: your name, email, language, region and sign-in method.
• What you share with our products: for Jambu, this includes what you tell it, your goals, reminders, chats, memory and documents.
• Device and network details: your device type, browser and approximate location from your network address (to the nearest city), used for security and to show you where you are signed in.
• Usage details: operational logs that help us keep the services working. We avoid putting personal content in them.

#2. Why we use it

• to provide the services you ask for: answering, remembering, reminding
• to keep your account and our services secure
• to improve reliability and quality
• to contact you about your account

We do not sell your personal data and we do not use your conversations to show you advertising.

#3. Who it is shared with

• Service providers who help us run the services, such as hosting, email delivery, and the AI model providers that produce answers. We share only what is needed for the task, and we choose providers that protect data.
• When the law requires it, or to protect people's safety.

#4. How long we keep it

We keep your information while your account is active. When you delete an item, it is removed from your space. When you close your account, we delete your personal data, except what we must keep by law. Backups are overwritten on a schedule.

#5. Your choices and rights

• see, correct and delete what the products keep about you
• switch off what each agent may read
• sign out of devices and close your account
• ask us for a copy of your data, or to erase it

To use these rights, use the controls in the product, or write to support@jambavanta.com. We aim to handle personal data in line with the data-protection laws that apply to you, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, where it applies.

#6. Children

People under the age of consent should use our services only through a profile set up and supervised by a parent or guardian.

#7. Security

We protect your data with encryption in transit, access controls and separate storage for each part of our products. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your sign-in details safe.

We will update this page when our practices change, and tell you about changes that matter.
